These terms cover the text (SMS/MMS) messages FuelHawk LLC sends to drivers and fleet contacts as part of the FuelHawk service. By taking part in the program you agree to these terms and to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
1. The messaging program
FuelHawk sends fuel-plan and operational text messages to drivers and fleet contacts — for example, where to fuel next and how many gallons to buy on the load being run. This is a transactional program tied to the work your fleet has asked us to support. It is not marketing, and we do not sell or share your mobile number for anyone else's advertising.
2. How you opt in
Drivers opt in by texting START to +1 (307) 218-2725.
A fleet subscribes to FuelHawk first. During onboarding, FuelHawk provides the fleet with an opt-in card, reproduced in full in section 3 below, which the fleet gives to each driver. A driver who wants fuel plans texts START to the number on that card. By sending that message the driver consents to receive fuel-plan and operational texts at that number, and receives a confirmation reply.
Because the driver texts us first, no message is ever sent to a driver who has not opted in. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchasing any product or service, and is never shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing.
3. The opt-in card drivers receive
This is the exact wording of the card given to every driver at onboarding:

6. Message frequency
Message frequency varies based on how often a driver triggers the system while on the road. On average, a driver receives around 5 to 7 messages per week.
7. Cost
FuelHawk does not charge you to receive these messages, but message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan and carrier. Contact your mobile provider for details of your plan.
8. Opting out — reply STOP
You can cancel the messaging program at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you send STOP, we will send one confirmation message and then no further program messages will be sent to that number. You can also reply UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END or QUIT. The confirmation you receive reads:
If you opt out, tell your dispatch team as well, since fuel plans are delivered through these messages and you will stop receiving them. You can rejoin at any time by texting START to the same number.

10. Carriers
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery depends on your carrier's network and is not guaranteed. Supported carriers may change at any time.
11. Privacy
Mobile numbers and message content are handled as described in our Privacy Policy. No mobile information is shared or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes, and messaging opt-in data and consent are excluded from every category of sharing described in that policy. Carrier and delivery data may be processed by the messaging providers that operate the program on our behalf, solely to deliver these messages.
12. Changes
We may update these SMS terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the current version, and continued participation after a change means you accept the updated terms.
